The Innova model of Toyota is basically a multi-purpose vehicle or a minivan. It is built with a two-box design, measuring less than 4,600 mm in length. The engine is placed near the front edge of the van to power a 7 to 8 seat vehicle. Toyota Innova has four variants, the J, E, G and V, and can either be powered by petrol or diesel engines. Petrol engines include the 2.0 and 2.7 litre types, while the diesel engine has a 2.5 litre type. The new variant of Innova known as the Sports Runner, an upgrade E variant, is powered by a 2.5 litre turbo diesel engine.
